Another great example of AWS pulling developers even closer to them. I bet it will end up integrating with all of their Code* services (CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeCommit). I wonder how much the Cloud9 acquisition factored in. The announcement post is here: https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/new-aws-codestar/

I worked with Chris while at a hosting company and let me tell you that Chris is incredibly dedicated to his customers. If you need an MVP to get a product into a potential market's hand, I would recommend 10Rocket. Best wishes to the team!

I'm a huge fan of Codenewbie and the Changelog. I was excited to see Adam and Jerod bring Saron on to find out how Codenewbie came to be. The best part was how Saron shared every embarrassing detail from her journey.

As bootcamps get more and more expensive, it's interesting to see how hiring companies are getting involved. It's clever to package up a companies's typical onboarding for devs from different stacks by having them apply to their own (free) bootcamp. Plus, check out that rad logo!

This concept was just featured in a Techcrunch article. http://techcrunch.com/2015/07/26/how-app-design-can-hurt-app-development/ I'll be trying this out today!

I'm obsessed with Slides. I won't use anything else. It's so easy to edit presentations and share them.

Josh, the creator, clearly loves Xbox and you can see all of the passion he put into this site. It's very user friendly and has a lot of smart features (user voting, snapshots, and timestamps) for all Xbox fans to love. Long live, XboxDVR!

A really clever idea. Curious to see how launching in Pittsburgh (<3 PGH) will be different than launching in a bigger city (or a rural college town like Grove City).

When we move back home (SF ---> Pittsburgh), this will be great to have. When we drove to SF, we stopped in Iowa to see the birthplace of Captain Kirk. If it can reveal those kinds of gems, I'm game!

I was at Startup Weekend Pittsburgh when this was initially pitched and watched Patrick at Alphalab Demo Day. I am so impressed with what Patrick and his team have built over the last 2 years. The passion Patrick has put into the game is obvious with every monster battle. This is a system (iPhone) seller!
