I launched Deal Reaper, an iOS app, here a while back and wanted to share a quick update.
One of the cooler moments so far: a sneaker creator with ~10k followers posted an unprompted story about the app and called it a game-changer for resellers, collectors, and casual eBay sellers. Just a genuine shoutout no sponsorship or ask from my end.
It drove a noticeable spike in organic users. Watching that happen in real time was one of the most rewarding moments I ve had building this.
Growth has been slower than I d like, but the users who do find it tend to stick around and get a lot of value from it, which keeps me motivated to keep building. On iOS, the app is currently sitting at 4.9 .
Feels like I m still chasing another organic viral moment, but I know those are few and far between.
Curious to hear what channels have actually worked for others here. Organic moments like that seem hard to replicate.

I m Brandon, a solo founder building Deal Reaper: a real-time sneaker resale intelligence app for resellers, collectors, and enthusiasts. As a sneakerhead and reseller myself, I constantly struggled to find accurate, cross-platform price and trend data. So I built the tool I wished existed.
