Love Gadget & their whole team! I used Gadget to rebuild my Shopify app (Flexi Theme Library), and have only good things to say based on my app rebuild experience.
Some features I adore about Gadget include:
- Built in Shopify Integration: Gadget is fantastic with handling shop data, and syncing anything from Shopify. Additionally, Gadget handles GDPR compliance webhooks and other Shopify related complexities pretty much out of the box!
- React Frontend with Embedded Polaris: It's super easy to build an embedded app and work with Polaris in Gadget.
- Seamless integration with other tools like Mantle (billing/marketing)
- Deployment and Hosting Simplicity: With Gadget I don't need to worry about my app going down or getting outdated. They have a fully managed hosting infrastructure!
As a solo app developer (with help from a few freelancers), I was able to take my small app project and turn it into a professional-grade production app. I can't recommend them enough!

What makes a good Shopify app? Well... a talented team! The team over at Awtomic is humble, innovative, and clever. They have continued to surprise me with their novel solutions.
I've had the pleasure of using Awtomic on a few different Shopify sites. I can honestly say it's one of the easiest and best subscription apps on Shopify. Their interface is well thought out and intuitive. + Their team is great to work with! Whenever I have a project where Awtomic is the favoured subscription app, I'm always confident the setup, migration, and overall project will go smoothly!
