I'm the original developer of Tavern of Azoth. I started this project to help improve a few small aspects of my TTRPG campaigns. The main thing I wanted to do was to be able to create a merchant contextual to my situation and environment in my campaign. I also wanted the merchant to only have a few items to help reduce the players' choice fatigue and make each purchase decision feel important....
