Such an awesome concept and incredible implementation so far. Really interested to see where y'all go from here.

Having tried it before the announcement, the accuracy of the product is super awesome. I was *genuinely* shocked at how well it works. As a developer, I'm also incredibly excited to build out some projects on top of it and ship them as free/OSS projects that use the Notion APIs for others to use and build off of.

You might have already heard of a 10x engineer. Probably too often, actually. If there's such a thing as a 10x engineer, surely there must be a 1x engineer, too?
Of course there is! Let's dig into a non-exhaustive list of what qualities make up a 1x engineer.

Dev.to is a really fantastic platform, and I'm incredibly excited to see it becoming *even more* accessible to developers globally. Launching platform specific apps in addition to providing a PWA makes a ton of sense, given that the majority of the world uses Android as their primary mobile operating system. Here's to enabling the next billion 🍻 Pros: I spend lots of time on dev.to as a writer...

I’m curious: why run commands via make instead of npm scripts?

Machine Learning has now answered a question I've been asking myself for years: Who runs @horse_js? I can't honestly tell if the machines are correct or not, but the answer definitely makes sense. Pros: Learned who @horse_js was, as predicted by ML Cons: Learned who @horse_js was, as predicted by ML

I travel a lot, and one of the biggest pains is discovering that a city doesn’t have rideshare services once I’m already there. Austin was a great example of this - the city banned Uber/Lyft for years, but as a traveler I had no way of knowing that. This tool is tremendously useful when I’m going to a new city and need to plan how I’m getting around. Pros: Easy UI, permalinks for cities, shows...

Been using Hyper since it's initial release. At this point I don't think I'd be comfortable using any other terminal, since I have such a consistent experience when developing on *any* platform. 10/10. Pros: Cross-platform terminal, highly extensible, well supported. Cons: Occasional issues with Electron, usually fixed within a day or two.

Been using Kap since the initial release, and I'm super happy with 2.0. Cannot suggest Kap highly enough, especially if you need to capture GIFs frequently. Pros: Easy GIF Capture, Highly Configurable Cons: Moderately large download

I use a variety of siloed tools that all have individual data exports. Gasket's made it incredibly easy to put them all into one central place repeatably, and allowed me to manipulate that data so it's easily consumable - I can have my data how I want it. Pros: Gasket makes data centralization and customization from many services extremely easy. Cons: May not have EVERY SERVICE KNOWN TO MAN,...

This is damn amazing. Beside the pure concept of buying a domain from the _command line_ (mind = blown), integrating it and streamlining it into how easy Now already makes deployment is absolutely 💥 On a technical side, I wanted to ask: what were some of the challenges with creating the actual domain purchasing process from the CLI? Were there any especially difficult challenges?

I would love to know more about the team's experience with Electron for this release. I know Slack has been listed on the Electron Apps list for a long time (since the beginning?) - you mention that all the apps are now *one* Electron app. Curious to know the backstory to that, and what the differences are now.

The expectations of Product Hunt versus the application seem to be interesting. I was in Tent-land (another decentralized protocol) on Day 2, and many of the same comments were made. There's an inherent disconnect between what people who consistently see polished projects that are self-contained silos expect versus the realities of what a decentralized tool can provide.

Crazy glad you're launching this! Very excited to start using it everywhere. Where do you see it going, feature-wise? What do you think you'll end up doing that other terminals don't? What does Electron/Node.js enable you to do?

Hey! God damned AMAZING app. Literally just spent 4 hours doing about a dozen photos. My SO and I are hooked. A few requests/ideas: * Filter the filters. Hide ones you don't like, or add your favorites to a list for easy access. * Different sizes. I've gone through the comments, and have seen that multiple sizes/original size has been requested already. However, I want to request it again....
