Hello, I am a female neurodivergent software engineer. I was part of the tech layoff wave in January 2023 from one of the big firms. This event was shocking because I had hoped to land a job at this company for a decade and did not expect to be leaving within a year of being hired. However, climbing this self-made mountain helped me to see that I had gained perspective. I have decided to turn my technical problem-solving and innovation techniques into tools that I will teach to teams from the outside in by building products that leverage inclusive design principles and empower users to expand their knowledge, connections, and reimagine what is possible for themselves.
