One of the Maker's here (waiting for approval). There's a ton of cool things going on in the space of headless CMSs (we have a list at http://headlesscms.org/), but we felt a strong need for a strong open-source offering that works across all the static build tools that people are working with and integrates into the git centric workflow that developers lives in. We just helped Smashing...

Service Workers, Cache API and Push API is such a big deal for the web. Just hope we'll see them in mobile Safari some day.

This is a small internal tool we open-sourced. It handles the main feature from Mention that we were using, without any specific limit on the number of keywords and based on Slack notifications. Hopefully it'll be useful to others as well :)

@bpedro if you can detect API changes, data format changes, header changes, etc, that's something I might be interested in as an API producer. Would basically work as a sort of automated acceptance testing of my API if I could get an alert if we inadvertently changed something, or simply a reminder of making sure our documentation matches reality.

API ChangelogAPIs change. Don't get caught off guard.

@staringispolite we go all the way when it comes to the production side of things. We have several candidates for congress running their campaign sites on BitBalloon and companies like http://dojo4.com/ using it both for their own site and for client work. The forms feature is mostly meant to handle relatively "dumb" forms where the important thing is to store the submission and either export...

Thanks @GeoffreyWeg! It's great to see people coming in from GA's courses and finding BitBalloon easy to use. Yesterday I had a 6th grader contact me through the in-app chat, while he was working on his "corporate website". There's no reason simple shouldn't be powerful and my goal with BitBalloon is that it should hold up all the way from people getting their first websites online to advanced...
