I am a software engineer of ~20 years. Always built side projects. I have put off going deep on AI until recently and committed to either building or buying an AI solution to manage/grow. This project took me about a month of afterhours time - not like grinding all night/weekend, but when I had the energy.
In the past I've done a little work ancillary to the home services space, so I wanted to find a product/service for high ticket item - pools was it.
I got the idea looking at most other wrappers out there - frankly the wrapper thing is outplayed, but customers of this app don't care about that topic : they just want to ideate on the design a pool for their backyard without having to deal with pushy contractors / house calls for 'free estimates' to provide designs for them. Hopefully the tool enables homeowners to get a little more DIY with the first step of the pool building process - the ideas.
