Hey PH! I built ThreatAlert because I wanted a way to know what's happening around me without handing over my identity to an app. The hardest part was the voting system — making it spam-resistant without requiring accounts. The solution was one-way HMAC hashing IPs server-side so duplicates are caught but nothing traceable is ever stored. Would love feedback on the globe gallery feature...
