I use DbGate mainly to learn and practice SQL. I chose it instead of the default MySQL tools because it feels more intuitive and beginner-friendly. I like the clean interface, the ability to work with multiple databases in one place, and the SQL editor with syntax highlighting and autocomplete, which makes learning much easier. Compared to MySQL Workbench, DbGate starts faster, uses fewer resources, and feels much lighter overall. One thing that could be improved is having more built-in tutorials or example projects for beginners, as well as more detailed documentation for advanced features. Overall, DbGate is a great choice if you want to learn SQL or work with databases quickly without spending time on complicated setup.
