I used this for the first time in a live streaming setup recently. We took a recording of the sync cycle and sure enough the video and audio were out of sync. The flash ring clearly indicated the amount of delay in milliseconds the audio needed, dialled it in to my mixing console output and voila! Perfectly in sync.
