Two things make blogstatic a no-brainer from my POV: 1. Very inexpensive ($19/yr) 2. Can serve the full blog on a path within your domain (e.g. yourdomain.com/blog) I'm a developer who can easily spin up a wordpress/etc blog and self-host.
