We use Supabase for our entire backend: auth, Postgres, storage, and realtime. We looked at Firebase early on but wanted to stay on real Postgres so we could own our data and not get locked in.
We use Modal to run all of Pioneer's fine-tuning and inference workloads. We evaluated running our own GPU infra on AWS and tried a few other serverless GPU providers, but Modal was the only one where spinning up an H100 job felt as easy as calling a Python function.
We use Linear for keeping track of bugs, feature requests, and our whole product roadmap. It's fast, opinionated, and stays out of the way, which is exactly what a small team needs.
