After trying all the AI image & video detection apps i could find, it left much to be desired. It was a mixture of hard paywalls and obvious fakes that just shoot out a random result. Some even giving 2 different results for the same exact content submitted twice, and labelling photos i took on my iPhone a moment prior as "AI-Generated Content". It inspired me to make DetectAI: a free, no-signup detector that follows a real scoring formula and supports seamless social media scanning.
