What is the right place to ask questions regarding some of the products in producthunt?
I notice that we can not comment under product launches if they were completed awhile ago. But where do I ask general questions about that project then? Or does that goes outside of producthunt scope? I would expect to have a comments section under product page too, but it seems there are only reviews there?
Recommendations for affiliate tracking software with insights?
Hi everyone! We're looking to start an affiliate program for our product but can't seem to find the right affiliate tracking software. Could you share what you're using and how it works for you? We've seen that a Tolt.io is a popular solution, but it's $50-$80 a month, and we're not ready to spend that much since we're just starting out. Do you know any good tools that are free until we get our first sales through the system? Any advice or recommendations would be great. Thanks!
What commission type do you use for your affiliate marketing program?
Hey everyone! I came across this article on Paddle (https://www.paddle.com/blog/how-...) that suggests offering a 30% lifetime commission for affiliate marketing. What are your thoughts? Is this a good strategy? Options description, based on the article One-time commissions: A single payment for each sale, which might not suit SaaS and subscription models well. For instance, a $20/month subscription yields $240 ARR, but a 15% one-time commission only gives $3 to the affiliate. Lifetime recurring commissions: Affiliates earn from every payment made by their referrals, not just the first purchase. This approach is favored for SaaS models. Limited recurring commissions: These have a cap on the number of conversions per client or limit the time during which commissions are earned on a customer s purchases. What commission structure do you use? Have you found success with one type over others? Let's discuss!
