QRAuth.io is LIVE on Product Hunt in 1 Hour - Passwordless QR Login That Actually Stops Phishing

In exactly one hour we are launching QRAuth.io on Product Hunt! If you have ever been frustrated by passwords, magic links, TOTP codes, or (worse) the exploding QR-code phishing scams this one is for you. What is QRAuth?
Scan a QR code with your phone to instant, passwordless login.
No apps. No copy-paste. No passwords.
Every code is cryptographically signed (ECDSA + post-quantum SLH-DSA), living (refreshes every 500 ms), and backed by proximity proof + passkeys. It is basically WhatsApp Web but for any website, any physical QR, and any future AR glasses or implants. We built it because QR fraud exploded all over the world. People scan first and ask questions never. We decided the QR itself should prove it is legit before anyone scans it. Why we are excited
- Developers: drop-in Web Components + SDKs in less than 5 minutes
- Teams: phishing-resistant auth that users actually love
- Future-proof: open protocol (QRVA), transparency log, and ready for the scan everything world The site and demos are already live (no signup needed): Now it is your turn
We want this launch to be driven by real feedback from people who actually care about secure, delightful auth. Drop a reply and tell us:
- What is the most annoying part of login/QR flows you deal with today?
- Which use case excites you most (web apps, physical access, events, transit, retail...)?
- Any wild ideas for where cryptographic living QR codes could go next?
- If you have tried the demo already what felt magical and what needs polishing? Every comment, every suggestion, every upvote on Product Hunt today helps us ship better and faster. Let us make the physical + digital world clickably safe together. See you on the Product Hunt page in about 60 minutes!
Link drops here the second it goes live. Thank you for being part of this journey already The QRAuth team

Scan a QR with your phone and you’re instantly logged in (open-source, no app, no passwords)

I built QRAuth.io passwordless authentication, it works on any website or physical QR (menus, parking, ticketing, kiosks ).How it works in 8 seconds:

  1. User sees an animated living QR on your site (rotates every 500 ms so screenshots are useless)

  2. They point their phone camera at it

  3. Tap once to confirm with biometrics/passkey

  4. Boom, logged in. No typing, no copy-paste, no extra app.

It s cryptographically signed (ECDSA + post-quantum), phishing-resistant, includes proximity proof, and fraud intelligence. Drop-in web components mean you can add it with literally one HTML tag or npm install .
Try the passwordless login flow or the beach-bar menu example, it s kinda addictive. Would love your honest feedback:

  • Does the living QR feel like magic or overkill?

  • What use cases would you actually use this for?

  • Any friction I should kill before I push it harder?

Open-source QR + passkey auth that feels like magic

I m Aris, solo founder who got fed up with clunky passwords and 2FA fatigue after years of building web apps. So I created QRAuth.io, an open-source passwordless auth system where you simply scan an animated living QR code with your phone, tap once with biometrics or passkey, and you re instantly logged in. No apps, no typing, no copy-paste, it works on any website, kiosk, menu, or even physical products, and it s cryptographically signed so screenshots are useless. Built it because I wanted WhatsApp-Web-style magic for every site, and now it s live with a generous free tier and drop-in web components. Super excited to be here and would love your thoughts on the flow or any wild use cases I haven t thought of yet!
