For iOS and Android there are native Fastmail clients, but not for macOS. The web interface used by Fastmail is excellent. A web interface can not act like a native mail application. It can, for example, not handle email links. When you click on such a link it is the macOS Mail application that opens. That is not what we want. The developer is very responsive and always open for your suggestions.

Does this happen to you as a Fastmail fan boy/girl: you click an email link and Mail opens. This is not what you want, but you cannot choose your Fastmail browser page as email client.
Enter FMail, the free native Mac application for Fastmail users.

FMail is an fastmail.com wrapper for macOS.
When you have installed FMail an email link will open the FMail client with all provided fields filled.
The Dock item will show a badge with the number of unread mails.

When you have a subscription for the Pinboard.in bookmarking site, this is the application you want!
Pinboard is a bookmarking service with no ads or tracking. The same goes for Roofs: no user tracking, no adds.
