I briefly considered going with SolidJS because I like that project (it is what React should have been), but settled with good ol' friend instead. It is nice to stay bleeding edge sometimes, but nothing can yet trump the stability, ecosystem and support you get by sticking with market leaders.
Building the landing page and docs with Astro was a blast! I thought I would spend much more time working on docs for my website, but Starlight delivered big and helped me bootstrap it in just a couple of days.
Don't get me wrong - I love VS Code and I use it too, but Jetbrains IDE are my top choice. I however might be too biased here, as I worked with those long before VS Code came to scene.
Built as a serverless solution on top of AWS Appsync with CDK - the former took some time to learn and understand while the later is simply awesome in managing your infrastructure.
