Launching tomorrow — would love your eyes on it before we ship
Hi everyone Beestow goes live tomorrow at 12:01 AM PT. The pitch: gift stock
without needing a brokerage account. Pick a stock, send a link by email or text or print a QR card to give in person. Recipient claims in 60 seconds and redeems for cash to any bank or brokerage. The honest backstory: a good friend's (co-founder) kid was turning one, and the parents had made it pretty clear no more toys. I wanted to give something that would mean something a decade later. Gifting a share of a real company felt right. Then I tried to search for a product and came up empty. I gave up and Venmo'd $50. Beestow is the version where you don't have to give up. A few specific things I'd love your read on: 1. Does it feel reputable on first look? Would you actually trust it enough to send a real $100 gift through it and if not, what's missing?
2. The gift purchase flow at /gift does the picker builder payment make sense, or does any step feel like it needs an explanation?
3. We're between two taglines: "Gift Stock, Simply" vs "A smarter cash gift." Which one would make you click? Site is at beestow.com. I'll be in here all day tomorrow happy to hand-trade feedback for anything you're working on too.
