I've been using eXo Platform 7.0 as a Slack alternative for about a month now. The open-source, self-hosted approach is great for control over our data, and having docs and chat in one place is super convenient. That said, setting it up took some technical work (Docker knowledge helps), and I wish the mobile experience was smoother. Overall, if your team values privacy and doesn't mind some setup, it's worth trying - just know it's not quite as polished as big SaaS options yet.
