I'm Ankit, a solo founder and software engineer.

I've spent the last few years writing code and somewhere along the way I got hooked on the harder problem behind the software, how people actually get work done and how much of their day gets lost just managing it instead of doing it.

Solo builder here, using Cursor + Claude Code as basically my whole engineering team. Six months in I still don't have a good instinct for this: some days I let it just run with a whole feature and barely glance at the diff, other days I'm rereading every line like it's a junior dev's first PR.

Right now my rough rule is billing/auth code gets the paranoid review, UI and analytics panels get the "looks fine, ship it" treatment. But that's just a gut feeling, not a real system.

Anyone here have an actual framework for this, or is everyone just winging it based on vibes and how burned they've been before?

Last summer, the idea for my SaaS, Xolora, started to take shape. Around the same time, the concept of vibe coding was blowing up. As a non-technical founder, it sounded like a dream come true. No coding experience? No problem, just let AI handle it.

The beginning was incredibly promising. Using Emergent made me feel unstoppable. I was seeing my idea come to life.
