Hi Makers! This thread is dedicated to you if you are: (1) launching soon or recently launched (2) looking for beta users (3) asking for feedback on a landing page First, start by helping out another maker. You can check out their launch, give their product a review or share a comment on their launch post. Once you've helped someone else out, share your product link here and BE SPECIFIC about who your target audience is and how we can help.

Naming is always a pain (even while coding). How do you proceed when you have a new product but can't find the right name? I've used Namelix but that doesn't really help For my previous startup we spent literally several weeks on this. What're your tips to get a good name?
Hey everyone! I'm Rosie Sherry and I love building communities. I started about 15 years ago with meetups, I then started Ministry of Testing and boostrapped that to $1.5M annual revenue over 10 years. I still (co)own, but don't run the business day to day. I led the community over at Indie Hackers for a couple of years. More recently I started Rosieland, a community for community builders. This has evolved over the past couple of years, from a newsletter, to a paid newsletter and now to a community with a 'community garden' approach. Rosieland is still my side-gig as I recently joined Orbit
Drop your lessons and tips from your experience of working with no-code tools! Bonus points if you suggest a tool that can be helpful with specific tasks.
I'm working in the tech for 12+years, mostly remote and being productive has always been an issue. From my experience what works the most is: - Define precisely my tasks, and keep it as small as possible (1h max)
- Work with 100% on this tasks
- Take regular breaks - and stop working after 4/5hrs of deep focus
- Sleep and eat well I keep all tasks in a bullet journal, it's not perfect but I haven't found a better way to do it.
(I'm building in public one product to solve this right now. Not sure how efficient it will be ) What about you? What worked for you? How about
[Caveat: I know this gets asked every now and then. It's been a minute since I've seen a recent post asking this.] Think about everything you've learned since you started your first project. It's staggering, isn't it? And honestly, most of what you know today requires the context of years of experience to even make sense. Still, there are those snippets of insight. Truisms that are readily understandable and intelligible by even the most naive novice. Like you were. When you started. With that in mind, you now have the opportunity to share some of your current knowledge with that earlier version of you. By writing a note to yourself. What is one thing you wish you had known before you began this journey of building products, setting up side hustles, or starting startups ? I'm looking forward to learning from you. Thanks in advance.
