Amy Hannah Johnston, a retired Brigadier General from Fredericksburg, VA, devoted over three decades to a distinguished career in the U.S. Army. Raised in Edina, MN, and Findlay, OH, her Midwestern upbringing instilled a strong sense of discipline, service, and community involvement. These values have remained at the core of her life, both during and after her military career. After retiring from the Army, Amy remained dedicated to her community. She is actively involved in Tree Fredericksburg, working to promote sustainability through local tree-planting initiatives. She also serves alongside her therapy dog, Duke, through the Alliance for Therapy Dogs, providing therapeutic support to military veterans in Virginia.
