About
Amir Baradaran is Founder & CEO of Niloom.ai, a “Prompt to AR/VR” generative AI platform for creating spatial computing content (formerly ABXR Engine). An artist, technologist, and scholar focused on AI and spatial computing, he previously lectured on Spatial Computing at Columbia University—where Niloom was born—and is affiliated with Columbia’s Computer Graphics & User Interfaces Lab and Digital Storytelling Lab. He is Guest Editor of a special “AI and Society” journal issue on the ArtSci ecosystem and founded AnotherAI in Art, a global initiative to decolonize AI and artmaking (with the New Museum & NEW INC). His work has been recognized by the Rockefeller Bellagio Fellowship, Knight Foundation Arts Award, Canada Council prizes, ISMAR’s Future of AR Prize, and more.
