With my app launching today on Product Hunt, I ask myself if it would have been better to create the APK and make it available via Play Store etc. I struggled with this question when deciding to do an online app via my website instead. My thoughts are that it is first and foremost much more cost effective and secondly it gives instant access to all that wants to use the app. No jumping through hoops for Apple or Microsoft or paying high cost to Google. But what do you think? Would you trust an application via your Play Store more? Is trust the only reason you would do it if you start selling your app?
