Regarding the roadmap, in addition to continually adding a slew of APM (application performance monitors) integrations, we are starting to connect into hosting companies uptime data, such as Microsoft Azure, Rackspace etc. so you can trigger or tie informational status, uptime/downtime based on external services that may affect your uptime.

I have another separate SaaS company that required a Status Page. We needed the ability to have individual subscribers (our customers), wherein they could subscribe to individual components (ones that were relevant to our customer). Additionally we spent a few hours each month generating SLA reports for our Enterprise customers. The solution hadn’t been built yet so we built the tool ourselves.
