About

I started from page layouting and printed media design in early 1990th. Through c graphic design, marketing, advertising (10 years of running my own advertising agency), I returned to the roots - and for the last 10 years stock photography is my only business. Also I'm creating tools - some of them becomes public. And the first commercial project is near ready for launch.

ShotPorter - order from chaos for photographers, videographers, content-creatirs

I developed a simple philosophy, based on experience:

  • Don't invent a problem till it hits you

  • Solve problems you know and understand

  • Go to the roots and start from there.

It is how ShotPorter appeared: out of a real problem and decades of experience in the photography field. Do you want to hear the real story behind it? Visit ShotPorter.com

Alex Potemkin aka Krakozavr

Hi there!

I'm Alex Potemkin.

Since early 1990-th I was a freelancer. Long story short: started with MS-DOS & Xerox Ventura Publisher (who still remember these names?) - page layouting & printed media design - graphic design - head of marketing - advertising - 10 years running my own advertising agency - and finally back to roots: photography, since I moved from Belarus to the USA.

What do you do when the agent hits its rate limit mid-feature?

Half a feature in, agent taps out on usage, and now you're staring at code you didn't fully read yourself. Do you wait for the reset, switch to a different model, or just finish it by hand? Curious how people handle getting cut off mid-flow, not at a clean stopping point.
