Coming to NYC from Brazil was overwhelming at first. I’d never lived outside my country, let alone shared a space with strangers. But the Central Park Manhattan House gave me a sense of comfort I didn’t expect.
What truly made this experience special, though, were my roommates. They were from all over the world, and every dinner turned into a cultural exchange. We cooked for each other, celebrated small victories, and even gave each other advice about life in New York. By the end of my stay, they weren’t just roommates; they were my friends.
