It depends. I am always open to constructive criticism but brutal negativity should not be accepted, ignored at the minimum. I make sure that I think about the solution to the negativity instead of overthinking about the expression.

I believe that it's more or less a mix of both system and inspiration. At some point, all of us are inspired with an idea for a new product but only a system helps to push it closer to reality. At the end, it's about if the idea is worth all the process. The struggle of realization that the idea was not so smart after all and then creating a more mature product.

I believe tech like AI and VR will have an improved reach among the core SM users. However, I don't see a drastic change in SM in the near future. More trends and more influencers for sure.

Interesting! your POV is certainly revolving around the "dark side of the moon" and it is quite intimidating for a startup co-founder. For me, I think the cycle of booms and drops can never be ignored or prevented. It certainly looks a more frightening time with so many layoffs and things you have already talked about. But, whoever survives will reap the benefits of the eventual upward trends too.

Absolutely! Elon Musk's track history is full of controversies and still he has bounced back every time. With Twitter, I think it's unfortunate that people are looking forward for an eventual shut down. It's a huge company and has enough potential to maintain its SM power.

What will be the future of social media?
We are witnessing social media moving at an unbelievable pace. You wake up everyday learning about new trends.
