This looks really interesting! Do you have anyone using this for customer support? We have some shared slack channels with customers for our B2B SaaS product. Making sure something that needs a reply doesn't get lost there is obviously really important. In going through the website and product demo video, the one challenge there might be there is a team of people that do customer support. Is...

We've been looking at ways to run more targeted ad campaigns at key accounts for our B2B product. This looks like it could be really useful! Also, who is using TF-IDF for their look-a-like models? Need to remember to avoid those products! Couldn't agree more about the power of word embeddings.

Managing cleaners and quality is a lot of work, especially when you first start an AirBNB. This looks very helpful!

Do they let you modify the title? If it said for Desktop or something that would have gotten me much more excited! I've been using 1.1.1.1 on mobile for a long time. Bringing that privacy to desktop is awesome.

Completely agree that no matter how small you are, you need to be thinking about GDPR and data compliance. Customers are aware of it, it can be a big differentiator, and it gets harder the longer you wait to do it! Thanks for creating something to help businesses get started!

Love this. Completely agree that a lot of swag just isn't interesting and is very wasteful. Great to find some alternatives.

We just signed up for Vanta recently. We aren't looking to get a SOC2 audit yet, but we want to be audit-ready and more generally just provably and proactively improve our security. So far it has been great. Templates for common security policies have been particularly helpful as we do have customers ask us for these and we were missing some. The customer support team is also great, turning...

I like to think of these in a few categories that I think can be important even for small teams. You might find that some tools work across multiple categories. Below are the categories I think about and some examples of products in each. - Communication. How are you communicating on a daily basis? Support for integration of important message / alerts from your main SaaS tools can be a big help...

Do you have the amount of vaccine doses each country has received? That could be an interesting extra data point. Especially since we know some places have been very slow in distributing. You might see other countries topping the list in terms of efficiency in distribution vs total % of population vaccinated.

One observation: There isn't much ethnic diversity in the gallery images above or on the landing page for the tool. With algorithm bias and related issues being so common in image use cases, it'd be a good idea to demonstrate a wider variety of skin tones and facial structure in the examples.

We had been just using Google Search Console until this came along. Switching over helped us make a lot of improvements to our sites and SEO. Thanks @timsoulo

Very cool. Very interesting to explore around the different categories. I even found a trending topic that would make a perfect holiday gift for my wife! (topic bokksu). Thanks for sharing!

Will definitely give it a try the next time I post to HN. Tried out a few variations on my last HN post and pretty much every alternative scored much better than what I used. And that post did really poorly, so guess I should test more ideas first! The web-ui you built around the ML prediction algorithm is really nice. Simple and clean.

This is really great. Screen recordings are a big part of our software testing processing for finding and fixing bugs. We've just been using the built-in mac os tools, but this is much better.

It can be really easy for meetings to get on autopilot and stop providing value. In a previous role, we had a weekly meeting that was created for a big project. Initially, it was extremely valuable to get multiple teams aligned around a goal. But then the meeting never stopped and at some point became unproductive. Simply asking the group "What is the purpose of this meeting?" led to some...

Can the changelog be embedded on an existing website? Our existing changelog tool has a widget that we can pop up when the user clicks a button in our web product, but the one gap we have is that we have no way to tell if there are new updates available. We'd like to be able to visually indicate on the button if there are new updates the user hasn't seen yet. Is there a way to do this with...

In addition to looking around for inspiring ideas, we actually created a page in our company wiki/knowledge base called "Product Best Practices" where people upload screenshots and add descriptions of great product experiences they encountered "in the wild". We even added a set of tags so you can at a glance get an idea of what the particular product idea is about. Over time it has collected a...
