When I started working on the marketing and sales strategy for our Data Engineering stream, I decided to test out LeadMeld as a support tool. I’ll be honest—I was pretty skeptical at first. We already have solid tools like ChatGPT that can do a decent job with idea validation and research, so I wasn’t sure LeadMeld would bring anything new to the table.
But it really surprised me—in a good way.
The biggest difference? LeadMeld is built around real-world reviews and market data, so the insights feel a lot more grounded and relevant. I especially liked the Marketing Research Assistant feature—it gave super clear, useful suggestions around competitor positioning, messaging, and content strategy.
I actually ran the same research through both LeadMeld and ChatGPT, just to compare. ChatGPT gave me some great general ideas, but LeadMeld delivered sharper, more targeted insights—the kind that feel like they’re coming from someone who’s actually been in the market, not just reading about it.
In the end, LeadMeld helped us make stronger decisions and gave us more confidence in how we’re positioning the Data Engineering stream. It turned out to be way more useful than I expected, and I’ll definitely keep it in the mix for future projects.
