I helped build UTeleport (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.uteleport.publisher), a very similar app, last year. BIggest lesson was that Instagram and Facebook are going to be the "Instagram for 360 photos" - the barrier to content creation was pretty high as well due to the requirement of dedicated 360 cameras. We even hooked into the OSC APIs to control the cameras directly...
