Adrian Alexander of New York, born in 1946 in Bucharest, Romania, moved to the United States in 1964 with his family, holding both U.S. and Italian citizenship. After completing high school in Romania, he faced the challenge of his father's death just six months after their arrival. This pivotal event led him to shoulder the responsibility of supporting his mother and himself. He pursued higher education at NYU Engineering School, earning a Master’s in Electrical Engineering in 1970 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1972. Despite the difficult circumstances, he excelled academically while caring for his mother. His resilience during these formative years laid a strong foundation for his subsequent career achievements.
