I highly recommend that anyone who hasn't yet heard @Backstage_Cap's @BootstrappedVC podcast take some time and check it out. @ArlanWasHere sets an extremely conversational and relatable tone, something which I think benefits the material immensely. This concept is a lot of "ehh." A lot of it is Spotify flexing their brand power before IPO (not uncommon), but I *still* think it distracts from two major things: 1. Their actual business model & strategies which still leave a lot of fundamental questions unanswered, and 2. Other areas of the music business (outside streaming) which they are pretty much ignoring (to their own disadvantage imo)...

This is an interesting idea. I'm always intrigued by the possibility of how to get the best prices for concert tickets. The Kayak-type model I think works well here, though I would caution against drawing a direct analogy since airfares are set by the actual airlines whereas ticket prices can be set according to secondary parties (i.e. Ticketmaster, etc.) if they have certain deals with venues....

This is definitely an interesting product, particularly because the process of hiring can be such a blackbox for people who haven't done it before. Shortening that process through this kind of efficiency has the potential to matchmake significantly more people with the right companies it seems.
