I'm part of the team behind Arkteka. We're working on something for anyone planning a home renovation or addition: you describe what you want in plain language, and the tool generates permit-ready architectural documents floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details exported as PDF, DWG/DXF, and IFC.

The problem we kept running into: homeowners and builders have a clear idea of what they want, but getting from "idea" to actual drawings a permit office or contractor will accept is slow and expensive. We wanted to shorten that gap while keeping the output professional-grade.

Right now we're focused on the US market and learning a lot from early users across homeowners, builders, and contractors each uses it pretty differently, which has been fascinating.
