Difficult for pure tech people - For Non-Tech folks, it might be not knowing right engineers or understanding complexity of their technology and what can be done - Life in general, foundership needs support and some risk, not everyone might be in the same state in life!

Not sure about customers being partners in the mission but without a customer base, you don’t have a business but a hobby. This holds true for any kind of product or service. Similar being the case for a blog, which is just another page on a server without a reader base. Is thereby important to think about how to get the first 1000 customers. This is just a number and could be 100 as well !!...

Prioritisation. The initial goals for the startup should be to get the direction right in terms of product, market, possible users etc before throttling on execution and tech-related challenges. Going about the process without a hypothesis resulted in panic and random dart-throwing as a strategy.

After having worked at couple of startups and having done multiple side projects. Have understood that any startup only two jobs : Knowing what to do Figuring out how to do it As more products get built. It is important to be able to run experiments and know what's working and what's not? All this is not possible without setting up a robust feedback mechanism to understand the startup direction...

This has been an area of interest for me for a long time. Most startups fail because of not getting the product-market fit right rather than getting the product wrong. Being able to make the right decisions in terms of core feature, pivot or abandon need to be backed and validated by data besides intuition.
