Why this exists
In my “real” company, I connect students with private tutors.
Skill is not the problem. There’s always another competent tutor.
The pain is:
Great on paper, bad with people
Smart, but careless with students
Good technically, toxic culturally
In practice, hiring always comes down to two questions:
Can this person do the job?
Should this person be on our team?
Everyone has tools for #1. I wanted a systematic, non-fluffy way to handle #2.
