It is dangerously easy to spend weeks building cool secondary features because AI lets you ship code ten times faster than before.

Using AI lets us ship updates and write code at ten times the normal speed, but it also makes it dangerous to chase useless ideas.

I caught our team spending a whole week polishing a complex feature just because ChatGPT made it effortless to write only to realize zero users actually wanted it. Shipping fast feels great but it easily masks the fact that you aren't talking to real customers.

How do you stop AI from tricking you into feeling productive while building things nobody asked for?
