Zero ROI, total waste of time and money, not a single signup for FREE software used by hundreds of companies.
Extremely stale data (>15% bounce rate, which the platform hides). Deceptive sales process. Predatory refund policy. Unhelpful customer service.

These guys abruptly shut down their original product (Popsy.co - a Notion website builder) without giving users any notice and stopped responding to their DMs or inbox.
Hundreds of Popsy websites have been down for months now. I've tried reaching the founders privately by DM and email to no avail.
There was no advanced notice or migration instructions, and there's no way to contact support outside of Twitter DMs.
I don't how Popsy expects people to trust in what you're building next, when you've left hundreds of existing users hanging with dead websites.
So far, this has not been the kind of experience I expect from a Y Combinator backed company.
Update (July 2025): The geniuses at Popsy let their domain (popsy.site) expire, so now everyone who built a site with Popsy.co is redirecting their visitors to pop-under spam ads.

Every Popsy website has been down for nearly a month now and I've tried messaging the founders a few times privately about this to no avail.
This is the second time in the last 9 months popsy has gone down.
There was no advanced notice or migration instructions, and there's no way to contact support outside of Twitter DMs.
It seems like they are planning on sunsetting the app and pivoting to popsy.ai, but this approach and the lack of communication does not inspire very much trust in what you're building next for existing Popsy users who are now left hanging
So far, this has not been the kind of experience I expect from a Y Combinator backed company.
Update (Jul 2025): Popsy continues to exceed themselves in ineptitude, having allowed the 'popy.site' domain (where everyone's Popsy.co sites used to live) to expire. Now every site built with Popsy.co redirects to pop-under spam ads.
What needs improvement
lack of customer support (2)poor communication (2)service downtime (1)pivoting focus (2)

Stellar posted a Tweet inviting referrals for top-notch creatives. I recommended a Fortune 100 designer with a multi-million-dollar portfolio whom I have worked with often. He's a certified MBE who work with award-winning startups & public companies.
Stellar's team completely ignored my messages and blocked me the first time I followed up. Both the Stellar directory & founding team have little-to-no diversity, and they don't seem open to BIPOC creatives either, given the conduct mentioned above.
Incredibly disappointed in what could have been a great idea, and instead ended up being a total waste of time.
