@jason - congrats on v2.0. Love reading your passion about the product above. Three questions: 1) What have you learned about how people/users want to consume news? 2) News has been curated from the beginning (e.g. NYT determining what's on Page 1, NBC news selectively filling 22 minutes, etc.). Why are you excited about how Inside is attacking it? 3) Where do you see the news industry in 5-10...

@ow can certainly see an outcome in which you're right. Just breaking it down, this is a change in the flow of normal communication - having to "speak" again to see if you've been heard. I envision a lot of shots of floors, tabletops, etc. just to see pictures.

@rrhoover (or anyone) any sense of what the react is doing? Is it Frontback like? Shots "reply with a selfie?"

@stevesadin - congrats to you and team on this release...sure it will be successful. Gave it a 5-minute try this morning - loved what I saw/did. FWIW, I think you guys are one of the gold standards for onboarding/tutorial experiences in mobile. Two questions top-of-mind: 1) When do you guys start "incorporating" (wrong word here, but hopefully you get it) music and sound into the product...

Love this - reminds me as Smart Technologies' whiteboards meets mobile. The WaPo article references testing in schools, etc. How long has Osmo been in the wild, in one way or another?

Very close to Vidlab, released recently by @rpnickson and @sarperdag of Piclab.

Has any one app/company pulled ahead in this space or found success? Seems to be a lot of launch/fundraising buzz when a new one drops, but I can't speak to anyone having traction and staying around.

@osmnshkh thanks! @rrhoover very similar. The Zoobean team branched out from books bc of market size and due to Cuban's investment from Shark Tank last summer.

Know the team at @zoobeanforkids very well...think very highly of the husband/wife/mom/dad team of Felix (@fblloyd) and Jordan. Just starting with apps and books. The key is leveraging Zoobean to grow with your kids...

@kristoferTM thanks! As for advertising, it was a combination of three things: (1) targeted advertising towards "teen" channels; (2) a small chunk of budget for marketing; and, (3) roll any in-app revenue back into user acq.

Thanks @rrhoover - been a fun ride. Yeah...some people do make the leap to OneFeat, Bout, Pictorious, and we don't want to be the app where you win three coins to unlock a filter by taking the best picture of a sailboat in a group of five friends. That seems to be a bridge too far for users, as far as real market successes to date. IAC/CollegeHumor spent seven figures on Bout before shutting it...
