I wish there was an Android version.
@slowfoodie I wrote a similar (much less pretty) app for android. It's primary purpose is to differentiate the important things I'll focus on today from the important things I'll put on the back burner.

It's a little rough but it gets the job done for me. Maybe it'll help you. :)

Check it out: https://play.google.com/store/ap...

@slowfoodie If there's enough interest, I'd love to add an Android version. I'm just one developer and had to focus my limited resources. Thanks for your feedback - it's definitely heard!

One Big Thing is the simple app to keep you focused on your biggest task every day.

Every day, you type in one big thing you want to do. Add a few little tasks you might also want to get done. Check the app during the day to focus on your goals. Next day it’s a blank slate. That’s it? Yeah! Trust me, it totally keeps your aim on the game.

It would be great to combine this with the concept many fitness apps use: a cumulative score for sequential days of achieving the goal.

Downloaded, created, enjoyed! BTW: I ask myself this question all the time. Excited to see how this feels when I implement.

Perfect, Focusing on the top 5 is the most important part of day.
Nice app. I would upgrade/use if I could pull in tasks assigned to me in Trello.

LOVE the app. Already seeing the fruits of using it to focus my unwieldy number of tasks in Wunderlist.

I hate to suggest anything to muck with the simplicity, but I'd actually love a login option with a web version so I can keep it on my desktop screen throughout the day.

@mikeorren That's a great idea - especially if it was optional and only turned on by request. Let me think it over. It'll add it to the future plans.

Very nice app! I wanted something similar few months ago to be able to focus on a single task everyday. But because nothing was in a market a this time I created a simple calendar alert every morning to remind me to reply to this question on my Note app : "what is your main focus today?"
Now the solution exist! Congrats

Great idea though! Is it possible to focus on an idea everyday ? Because i get thousand of ideas hitting my brain walls everyday! I think this tool will help me keep focused and valuate the best idea for the day!
Idea : I like to achieve a short term plan in five or a week or in 15 days and the whole journey.

Love this app. So simple but helps you focus on what's most important.

Great idea. Glad to see we are moving from task management (organizing and cataloguing complexity) to attention management (prioritizing and focusing). Much needed in our busy work. Hope this is successful enough to roll out to android per the other requests :)
Looks awesome.. Please build it for Android also.. And the concept is similar to book called 'ONE THING by Gary Keller ' which happened to be my favorite book.
I do this offline - Boulders and pebbles - I'll give this app a 1 week trial and report back. So excited!

Great concept and design! Would love to have a connection with Todoist though! One Big Thing should automatically fetch the most important task from my Todoist-list.
