Interesting, I am not heavily invested into Instagram but can see this being quite useful. Some tags are quite interesting (and could a white space perhaps be added between tags unless this is the norm?). I looked for Landscape / San Francisco and got these suggestions:
#landscape_lovers#WatchThisInstagood#dehazeco#landscape_captures#VisualsOfLife#livefolk#artofvisuals#liveauthentic#welivetoexplore#jaw_dropping_shots#naturelovers#awesome_earthpix#landscapephotography#ig_masterpiece#neverstopexploring#beautifulplaces#AwesomeEarth#EarthVisuals#onlyinsf#howsfseessf#california#igerssf#streetsofsf#wildbayare#visitcalifornia
This looks cool! How did you identify the right hashtags for the styles? I was wondering because for Cartful, we post a lot of fashion photos that may be "portrait" or "street," but would probably benefit more from the #fashion tags.
@jenleeny thanks Jen! I took around 20-30 photos that distinctively sat in a category and went through their hashtags (often with the big communities in mind, like Instagood, etc). In this beta, I've left the categories fixed, in the future you'll definitely be able to choose both categories. Maybe for now cut half of the street and half of the portrait tags? If you know of any #fashion tags, let me know, happy to add a category :)
Hey Product Hunt!
Thank you for the feature. I built Dehaze out of a little bit of frustration. It's seemingly impossible to find the right hashtags to promote shots on Instagram. Those who get it right see huge results, but it takes days and days to collect the ones that'll work.
I spent a few months building the product and researching the hashtags, and am pleased to launch in Beta today. Please let me know any feedback, or submit on the site.
Thanks!

Love it. It's not easy to know what kind of tags are working or not. These tags are great. The views on my pics on Instagram had a huge increase
Hey Nick well done on launching. I spent a long time building a way to dynamically find relevant hashtags for shots, but I abandoned it with a love-loss. Feel free to use my own code as a platform for turning this into a dynamic hashtag filter if you want http://github.com/pawel2105/efff...
@cynicalgrinch Thanks Pawel, will definitely take a look! I can see the frustration you had with the Instagram API, that's why I've stayed away from it for now haha!

Looks good! Will give it a try on my next post as I spend a fair amount of my time on instagram! If you could just add Tokyo to the list that would be rad! :)
@alexabian Thanks! Will add Tokyo now — any good hashtags communities from what you've used?

@nicksmithr Hi Nick, thanks a lot! I had success by using location tags like Shinjuku or Shibuya depending on the shot, also found #tokyocameraclub that seems to have a certain audience. The rest are a bit of a mistery so far :)

I don't know how but I think you have a special connect with that tags!🙃They are working! Good photographers, not just usual users and bots, liked my pics. Thank you for your work. Will wait for final release 👍🏻
