This little gem is an ugly ducking. It looks like something from the 90s, but it provides a wealth of tools. Giving you basic text statistics, helps you identify the most common words and/or phrases, analyse the readability of your text using multiple indices, analyse the lexical density and the use of passive voice in your text.

I have to agree with Daniel. It is ugly but quite useful. If you rely on writing to do whatever you do, this kind of analysis will inform you of the mistakes you are making - even the ones you thought you didn't make anymore.

You know, I've never used any analyzing services( only Grammarly sometimes can help me out), and I think that it's better to get professional human help because machines can make mistakes. Also, I believe that it's necessary to improve your writing skills to become an advanced writer and not to use any help. When I have time, I always look for articles, which can improve my skills. Yesterday I found this website and found a lot of info about writing a capstone project outline. I found my old project, compared its' capstone outline to examples and understood than now, and I would be able to avoid such mistakes.
