Hey everyone 👋 I'm Anas, co-founder of Zykub.
The honest reason I'm building this: over the last couple of years I watched a lot of good people get laid off. Not because they were bad at their jobs — but because teams get buried in overhead, and when things get tight, people are the first thing cut.
What stuck with me is that the waste was never the people. It was everything around the work — the planning, the assigning, the chasing, the "who's doing what and is it still on track." Teams keep piling on coordination until they're drowning in it, then cut headcount to survive. The actual work was never the problem.
Zykub is my answer to that. You paste in a project brief in plain language. It breaks the brief into tasks and assigns each one to the person who genuinely fits best — weighing their skills, current workload, and what they've done well before (it learns your team from their CVs and past projects). Then, before anything's marked done, it checks the work against the brief and flags what's missing.
The point isn't to replace anyone — it's the opposite. Make the team you already have so much more effective that a small, sharp team delivers like a big one. So lean teams win, and people spend their time on the work that matters instead of the busywork between it.
Honest note: we're in early access right now — you can join the waitlist at zykub.com, and we're letting teams in a few at a time. So this is less "go try it this second" and more "help us build the right thing."
What I'd genuinely love your take on:
- If you're on a small team — what eats the most of your week that isn't the actual work?
- Does "an AI teammate that runs the coordination" sound useful, or does it make you nervous? Why?
- What would stop you from trusting an AI to assign real work to real people?
Every reply shapes what we ship. Thank you 🙏
