Hi Product Hunt community, I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to finally share Zomni with you. This project started when my partner began struggling with sleep. Like many, he tried all the usual things - sleep trackers, melatonin, breathing apps - but none really helped. Eventually, he came across CBT-I (the clinical gold standard for insomnia), but found it overwhelming and rigid to do alone. That’s when I thought: what if we could make this complex, science-backed method actually usable in real life? The more we explored the sleep space, the more we realized a strange paradox: most sleep apps are focused on tracking, not helping. They show you numbers - “you slept 6.5 hours”, but offer no real guidance. Worse, they can create anxiety and pressure to hit a "perfect" 8 hours, leading to naps, inconsistent routines, and ironically… worse sleep. Zomni takes a different approach. It’s not about chasing numbers: it’s about building sustainable habits. With AI-guided support rooted in CBT-I, Zomni helps you understand your real sleep needs, stick to a rhythm, and gently get back on track when life throws you off. @asaskevich Thank you! We designed the chat to be as helpful and safe as possible for users. For example, there’s even a condition called orthosomnia that can arise when people become overly fixated on their sleep data from fitness trackers - ironically leading to worse sleep. That’s why one of our goals was also to educate users, helping them better understand sleep.
