Zettelkasten AI connects your Obsidian vault to any AI provider - OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. There are also plug in solution. Chat with notes (RAG), semantic search, auto-generate atomic Zettelkasten notes, and run custom commands.
It would be great if you could add a "smart inbox" view that surfaces notes needing review or connections, based on AI suggestions. Right now I have to manually remember which notes are orphaned or stale.

Curious how you handle the cost when a vault gets large, since the RAG retrieval has to pull context on every chat turn - does it rerank chunks before sending to the model or just dump everything in?
Switched it over to my local Ollama model and the atomic note generation actually pulled the right context from my vault. Way better than other plugins that force you into one provider.
finally a tool that actually hooks into my obsidian vault without forcing me into someone else's workflow. the local model support with ollama was surprisingly painless to set up
