Launching today
Zas moves files, photos, text and code between your devices and to other people. Nothing to install and no account to start: open zas.red and paste. A universal clipboard: copy on your phone, paste on your computer. Directo sends up to 10 GB device to device. Everything is encrypted on your device before upload and deletes itself in 5 days unless you pin it. Your coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, any MCP client) can send too. Web, Android and iOS. Free to use — a corridor, not a warehouse.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Sebastián, solo founder in Buenos Aires.
Zas is for the thing you do ten times a day and never think about: getting a file, a photo, a link or a chunk of text from this device to that one. Most of us do it with a WhatsApp message to ourselves, an email to ourselves, or a USB stick. All of those are libraries. Nobody cleans them.
Zas is a hallway instead. Open zas.red, paste or drop something, and it is on your phone. No account and no install to start. Sign in with Google, Apple, an email code or a passkey when you want it to stick. Everything expires after five days, with a small ring on each item counting down — nothing to clean up, nothing left behind.
"Isn't this just AirDrop?" AirDrop stops at Apple. Zas doesn't — any device, any browser (Android to iPhone, phone to laptop), then it clears itself out.
What is under it:
- Content is encrypted on your device before upload. Storage receives encrypted bytes. The service keeps the account, channel, delivery and expiry metadata it needs to sync and delete items. I do not call it end-to-end and I would rather tell you why than have you find out: the account key is derived with help of a server-side service.
- Direct moves up to 10 GB from one browser to another over a live connection, nothing stored, with a 24-hour encrypted fallback if the connection cannot be made.
- Your coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, any MCP client) gets its own identity in Zas: its own keys, a permission per channel, a teal >_ mark on everything it sends. It is never you.
- Web, Android and iOS, in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
Free. No card and no plan to pick.
What I have not built yet: a blocklist and takedown path for abuse, Direct in the native apps, and a simpler agent pairing.
Tell me what breaks and what is unclear. I will be here all day.
Well done, Zas team 👏 "A corridor, not a warehouse" is the perfect framing. Self-deleting by default plus on-device encryption is exactly what I'd want for moving sensitive files.
Quick question: can the sender force a shorter expiry or burn-on-read for the really sensitive stuff? Congrats on the launch 🚀
@patrick_summers1 Thanks Patrick. On the sensitive case: you can send an item with a shorter life, down to one day instead of the 5-day default, so it clears itself out fast. If you want nothing stored at all, use Directo — it streams the file straight device to device, with no copy kept on the server (only a 24h encrypted fallback if the live link can't be made). And a note flagged as secret stays covered on screen until the reader taps it, so it isn't sitting there in the open.
Congrats on the launch! I've been WhatsApping files to myself for years. With Zas you paste something on the homepage and it's ready to share. No account, no install. I like that files delete themselves after 5 days, because my chat with myself is a mess of old screenshots I never cleaned up. Code also arrives as code, with syntax highlighting, which is a detail most tools skip.
The agent support caught me off guard. You link Claude Code to your account and pick per channel what it can send or read. I haven't seen that in a file-sharing tool before, and I want to try it on my own builds. Really nice work.
Thanks Federico, this is exactly the use I built it for — the chat-with-myself graveyard. On the agent part: you give the agent its own identity, not your login. It gets its own keys and you set per channel what it can send or read, and everything it sends carries a teal >_ mark so you always know it was the agent and not you. If you try it on your own builds I'd really like to hear where the pairing feels clunky — simpler agent pairing is the next thing on my list.
