Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Ender, and I built zabterm: a fast, keyboard-driven terminal UI for Zabbix.
I spend most of my day in the terminal, and switching to a browser to check on Zabbix kept breaking my flow. The web frontend is powerful, but most of the time I just want to know what's on fire, which host it's on, and acknowledge it. So I built a TUI that does exactly that.
What it does:
- 📊 Dashboard: fleet health at a glance, with availability, a severity breakdown, CPU/memory charts and per-host sparklines
- 🖥️ Host pages: CPU, memory, network and load charts from 15m to 7d, plus searchable latest data
- 🚨 Problems: filter by severity, then acknowledge or close without leaving the keyboard
- 🔔 Notifications: desktop alerts when problems appear or resolve, or when hosts go down
- 🎨 Themes: tokyo-night, catppuccin, gruvbox, nord and more. On Omarchy it follows your system theme live
- 🔐 Profiles: prod, staging and lab in one config. Tokens can come from pass, 1Password or env vars
It's written in Rust, runs on Linux and macOS, works with the Zabbix 7.x and 8.0 APIs, and is free and open source (MIT).
Try it in 30 seconds:
brew install enderkus/tap/zabterm
It's still early (v0.1.x), so I'd love your feedback. What do you check first when something breaks, and what's missing for your workflow?
Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
