I started this because I kept watching podcasters and interview shows spend hours scrubbing through hour-long recordings just to find the 60 seconds worth clipping, then reframing it, captioning it, and voicing it by hand. I wanted that whole process to take minutes instead of hours, without needing a full-time editor or an enterprise-priced tool. Under the hood it does four things: pulls multiple ranked clips out of one long video (Extract Shorts), builds a single auto-edited highlight covering the whole video's arc (Smart Short), adds natural AI voiceover, and generates accurate word-by-word captions in multiple languages. I get compared to Opus Clip a lot, and honestly the output quality is close. I've priced it well below theirs though ($3.99-7.99/mo on the yearly plans) because I'm a solo builder without VC overhead to cover, and I wanted creators who are just starting out to actually be able to afford it. This is a bootstrapped, one-person build, so there are rough edges I'm actively working through.
