I use x a lot and lately its been filled with ai replies so i thought that i should build something where replies need efforts so i made yapp, yapp was intially a voice only social interaction platform but with time and user feedback i also added text as a comment, currently i am working on making text section ai free as much as possible removing copy paste option , dectcting human pattern in typing.
yapp also features state wise posting i belive certain states and city have their own culutral news and punts , and certain discussion are better be done with the guys who live in your city and state.
My vision for yapp is to make this thing a closed ecosystem where users pay a small amout to be in the ecosystem and which makes the yapp sustainable and out of that money we give users the power to reward the content,
lets say i take 100inr as monthly sub now i keep 60rs with me to make yapp sustainable and rest 40inr goes back to user who can reward the content on the platform.
i would also make the yapp an ads filtering machine right now social media is filled with shit scam ads i would not do that thing.
as yapp has geo posting i would approch local business and new startups and would say the ads are free on yapp condition that the yapp users gets the best value , current ads system makes the cac cost high which is eventually born by the users which do not generate any value for the users nor the business.
The vision is to bring your own city your state in your device

finally a social app that actually feels local, posting in brooklyn and knowing only nyc folks see it is such a nice touch, the visitor label thing is clever too
